The WAKEUP TIMES Awakened Entrepreneur’s Club is a community of like-minded, conscious entrepreneurs as well as aspiring entrepreneurs who are committed to making a difference in their client’s lives and int he world. What is Speed Networking?
In a nutshell, it’s an easier, more stress-free, more structured way of networking. You’ll meet and network with at least 10 people with focused conversations that enable you to laser in on what’s possible. Each speed networking conversation lasts for 6 minutes. When that 6minutes is up you’ll get told when to swap over.
The Agenda:
- Welcome and Introduction to Awakened Entrepreneurs Club
- Freestyle networking for 20 minutes. Grab yourself a coffee or a glass of vino at the bar.
- Quick explanation of how speed networking works.
- 30 minute speed networking session (you’ll meet 5 new people) – this is highly structured so it gives you both to talk and commit to the next step.
- Talk: On a business-related topic (30 minutes)
- 30 minute speed networking session (5 more people to meet)
- More freestyle networking
- Finish

Speed Networking FAQs:
Q. I’m not in business. Will it benefit me?
Absolutely. This event is all about connection and collaboration. Everyone has something to contribute. And everyone has something great to learn from others. You still know people who you can help connect others to. And – chances are the people you meet have connections that will help you advance your career, or other areas of your personal life too.
Q. What if I find it difficult keeping my conversation with someone to 6 minutes?
You can always continue your conversation with them in the Freestyle networking session at the end of the evening.
Q. Is it like the speed dating events I go to in Brisbane?
Yes and No. It’s structured yes but the focus is on business not dating.
Q. But I don’t have a business card. What do I do?
That’s okay. We have a supply of blank cards you can list your details on or bring your own if you like.
Q. What do I bring along?
Business cards, colleagues, friends and a smile.
Q. What do I wear?
You can wear whatever you like however bear in mind that it’s a professional event so stubbies and thongs probably won’t suite the occasion.
